Mactan Island is the home of Mactan-Cebu International Airport, the country’s second-busiest airport, and is located a few kilometers from the main island of Cebu. The island has become a modern place but has retained its greenness and has some lovely sandy beaches, and good diving and snorkeling spots off the neighboring islets.
