Overview 

For those who want beaches, adventure, and a unique swimming experience with whale sharks, this full-day tour in Oslob is ideal. Pickup and drop off at any hotel in Mandaue, Mactan Island, or Cebu City are included in the tour package.

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and driven directly to Oslob, where you will spend approximately three hours taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains and coast. A local tour guide and a light meal await you upon your arrival in Oslob! After a brief orientation, proceed directly to the whale shark viewing area before boarding the paddle boats.

  • Outrigger boat transportation to and from Sumilon island

  • Tip to the driver and guide (It's customary to leave a tip for the driver and guide service)

Estimated Itinerary

The final pick-up time may change during peak and monsoon seasons on which early pick-up time is required.

  • 1:30 AM – Pick up hotel

  • 5:00 AM – Arrival in Oslob, light breakfast

  • 7:30 AM – Whale shark watching or snorkeling

  • 8:30 AM – Cool down at Tumalog Falls (closed every 2nd Wed for clean up)

  • 9:30 AM – Sumilon island sand bar

  • 11:00 AM – Back to mainland

  • 12:00 PM – Lunch

  • 1:00 PM – Depart back to hotel

  • 4:00 PM – Estimated return to hotel

Tour Tips

  • The best time to experience the shifting sandbar is during low tide, please check the tide forecast when you make a booking.

  • Avoid crowds on weekends and Philippines holiday

  • Bring extra clothes for change, sun protection, extra water, and an underwater camera if available

Activity Policy

  • 2 years old below - Free of charge but not included in the headcount

  • 3 years old - Less Php 500 per child

Child Policy

Cancellation due to bad weather

 Due to unpredictability in nature, bad weather, and other environmental variables outside of our control, it is possible that whale sharks won't be sighted during the tour or that the sandbar on Sumilon Island may be blocked. We regret to notify you that there will be no reimbursement for the actual transportation costs in such a case.
 

Free cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure time, otherwise will be based on our Terms and Conditions.

The pick up time needs to be early due to the NO GUEST-NO TICKET POLICY in Oslob whale shark watching.
